Detailed Tsavo East Elephant Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park
You will be met by our company driver / guide who will pick you up from the airport or from your hotel and you depart Nairobi for Tsavo East National Park, the largest park in Kenya. Your game drive will start as soon as you enter the park and then drive to your camp / lodge to check in and have your lunch.
After lunch, you can have some relaxation time at the camp/ lodge where you may get a chance to see some animals roam around. You will go for an evening game drive in search for more animals that traverse the Tsavo East National park including elephants, lions, leopards, buffalos, waterbucks, lesser kudu, hippos, crocodiles among others. Return to your camp / lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Tsavo East National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on your full day game drive in search of elephants, the infamous man-eaters of Tsavo, buffalos, cheetahs, giraffe, antelopes and various other animals which call this national park their home. You will also visit the Aruba dam where lots of animals can be found quenching their thirst especially during the dry season.
Drive back to your camp/lodge to have lunch and a little bit of relaxation before you head out for another game drive in the park. Retreat from the day’s game drives and head back to your camp / lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Depart for Nairobi
Wake up to a pre-breakfast game drive to have a chance to catch up with the predators and other nocturnal animals that live in Tsavo East NP. Return for breakfast and heck out from your camp/lodge and then prepare to drive back to Nairobi with one more game drive as you depart the park. You will be dropped off at your hotel / residence in Nairobi or at the airport to catch your flight back home.
