Detailed Mara & Nakuru Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
We will pick you up from the airport or from your hotel after breakfast and depart Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley View Point. Marvel at this nature wonder with its vast vegetation and the scenic view.
You will have lunch en-route and then continue with your journey and arrive in Masai Mara in the late afternoon or early evening and then proceed for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge / camp
Day 2: Game drive in Masai Mara
Its adventure time. On this day, you will spend the whole day out in the wilderness on a thrilling game drive. After your breakfast, you with go a morning game drive in the animal populated Masai Mara National Reserve renowned for its vast numbers of different animal species from the wildebeests, large herds of elephants, zebras, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos and crocodiles in the Mara River.
You can opt to pack a picnic lunch or drive back to your accommodation facility for lunch and a little relaxation before you embark on another game drive towards the Mara River. Dinner and overnight at your lodge / camp
Day 3: Depart Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park
After your breakfast, you will have another game drive en-route as you head out to go to Lake Nakuru National park well renowned for the beautiful masses of Flamingos and many other different bird species, amazing picturesque scenic views with abundant wildlife. You will have lunch en-route.
Arriving Lake Nakuru NP in the evening, you will do nothing much but check in to your accommodation facility, freshen up and have a relaxing evening in the wild. Dinner and overnight at your lodge / camp.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi
After the breakfast you will enjoy a full game drive in Lake Nakuru N.P. Marvel at the sightings of flamingos at that line the shores of Lake Nakuru and other birds that also flourish around the Lake and in the park.
Other animals that can be sighted in the park including the Rothschild’s Giraffe, Rhinos, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and several other species of plains game. You will proceed with lunch en-route to Nairobi back to you hotel / residence or drop off to the airport for your flight back home.
