Detailed Kenya Tanzania Wildebeest Migration Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
On arrival at the airport in Nairobi, you will be met by our company representative who will brief you on the entire Wildebeest migration Safari. You can opt to be driven to Wilson airstrip for a domestic flight to the Mara or our guide will drive you to Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have an en-route game drive to the lodge / camp whereby you get to see the first wildlife in the Mara North Conservancy.
Day 2: Game Drive in Mara North Conservancy
You will start the day with an early morning game drive to catch the first glimpse of the sunrise and take memorable pictures. Today you will discover the wildlife in Mara North Conservancy. You can choose to pack your lunch and go for a full day game drive and have a picnic lunch in the wild or opt to go on several game drives at different times during the day with a return to the lodge / camp for a hot lunch. Retreat from the day’s activities and return to your lodge / camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania
After a tummy filling breakfast, you will transfer to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
Day 4: Migration Game Drives in Serengeti
You will engage in a full day migration game drive in Serengeti National Park. Your morning game drive will begin at 06:30 am where as your evening game drive will begin at 04:00 pm.
Day 5: Visit Ngorongoro Crater & Transfer to Karatu
After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descend to the crater and take on game drives till 3 pm. You will then transfer to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Arusha & Departure
After breakfast, you will transfer to Arusha for departure. Depending on what time your flight it, you will be dropped at the airport 2 hours before your departure flight.
