Detailed 7-Day Kenya Family Safari Package

Day 1: Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
On arrival in Nairobi (morning flight), you will meet our company representative. After a short safari briefing, you will begin your journey to Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Along the way, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos. You will pass through Narok town, home to the Maasai people, and arrive at Masai Mara in the afternoon.
Enjoy lunch and go for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 2: Game Drive in Masai Mara
You can choose between a half-day or full-day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. You may see the Big Five (lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and rhinos) along with other animals like wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, gazelles, hippos, and crocodiles in the Mara River. The day’s plan depends on what you saw the previous day. Lunch will either be a picnic or back at the lodge.
Optional activities: Visit a Maasai village or go on a hot air balloon ride (extra cost).
Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 3: Drive to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Naivasha, passing again through Maasai land and Narok town. Arrive in time for lunch. Lake Naivasha is a peaceful and scenic stop and a great base for hikes to Hell’s Gate National Park or Mount Longonot. In the afternoon, go to the jetty for a boat ride on the lake to see birds, hippos, and other aquatic life.
Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Have breakfast and then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Check in at your lodge, collect your packed lunch, and go for a mid-morning game drive. Lake Nakuru is well known for its bird-life, especially flamingos and pelicans, and is home to both black and white rhinos. After lunch, go on another game drive. Later return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Game Drive in Lake Nakuru and Transfer to Amboseli
Start your day with a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru. Look out for flamingos, birds, and animals like giraffes, waterbucks, lions, buffaloes, leopards, baboons, and other plains animals. After the game drive, begin your journey to Amboseli National Park with a stopover for lunch in Nairobi. Arrive at Amboseli in the evening. Relax, have dinner, and overnight stay at your lodge or camp.
Day 6: Game Drive in Amboseli
Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, famous for its views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Go on morning and afternoon game drives to see wildlife and birds. Enjoy the open landscapes and take photos of the scenery. You can have a picnic lunch or return to the lodge for lunch. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: End of Trip – Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, go on a final morning game drive to look for any animals you may have missed. Return to the lodge for lunch, then start your journey back to Nairobi. Enjoy your last view of Mt. Kilimanjaro as you leave the park. The driver will drop you off at your hotel, residence, or at the airport for your flight home.
